Rabbi Reverend Dr. Haviva Ner David is one of my favorite people. We have been friends for something like 30 years if not more. (So hard to say that!!) She is a spiritual guide, dream counselor, mikvah director, author of six books, peace activist, disability activist, and mother of seven living in the Galilee. She is my teacher and friend and I have learned so much from her over the years.
Today, as she faces rockets from Lebanon on pretty much a daily basis, bloodshed all around us, and a bizarre Jewish holiday season that feels apocalyptic, Haviva looks back on the year since October 7 and on lessons for Israel’s future. And offers some seeds for hope.
