A tragic postscript

Yesterday, we shared an interview with Nofar Drukman in which she shared a story about her first Palestinian friend, Muhammed Sharif. Since that recording, Muhammed was killed in an IDF airstrike.

From Nofar Drukman:

Hello everyone. Yesterday the sixth episode was published with me talking about a friend of mine Muhammed Sharif who was my first Palestinian friend. And he was from Gaza. And when we took this recording, when we did the podcast, he was still alive and i talked with him. And a few weeks after that, I found out that Muhammed was killed after an airstrike by the IDF in Gaza in Khan Younis. So Muhammed died and he is not with us any longer. And I want to dedicate this episode for his memory.

He was such a special person to me. And not only to me. He was a brilliant person. A peace activist. And I wish one day we can all live in Israel/Palestine in this region equally, peacefully. After a reconcilliation process with each other. And hopefully we will know better days. Way better days. For us, for Muhammed's memory, for the next generations.
