Congratulations on trying a new format! I enjoyed the warm colors in the background and your warm voice. I can’t wait for the podcast. Can you add the name of the Palestinian author in the show notes?
I'm not sure where the show notes are (my first time doing a "show"), but i did put in the link to Seyla Benhabib's "The generalized and concrete other" in the post itself. Were you able to see that? i'm going to play around now and see if i can find notes...
Also -- the other reference I made was to the author Raja Shahedah. He has a few compelling books, a beautiful writer. I'm now reading, "We could have been friends, my father and I." Also worth reading "Occupation diaries".

Good news! I just posted my first "note"! Substack even sent out a notice that says, "Elana Sztokman has published her first note!!"
Do people read the notes? Do you think this is an important tool?
Thank you so much friend <3
