Attempt #5: NOT giving up....
After the latest banner calling for an end to the war was ripped down, my spouse and I went and hung up yet another banner for peace....
Last night I discovered that yet ANOTHER one of our posters calling for peace had been ripped down — actively cut. Below is yesterday’s “before and after” pic.
You can see here the remnants of the ties that were actively cut with a knife or scissors. This was NOT a random fraying of an old poster. These were ties that had been up for two weeks and needed to be purposefully destroyed.
Here are a few of the previous posters that were cut down in the same spot outside our garden.
And so, last night my spouse and I set out to put up yet another poster.
Attempt #5.
We broke out the ladder because actually the posters are high up. Also makes me wonder about how hard some people are working to make these go away.
My tall spouse handled the high bits.
And I took the low bits
Together we got the job done
Where there’s life there’s hope.
We won’t let the hate silence us.

Thankfully your husband is in agreement with you. I always feel very sorry for people whose spouses have beliefs
about the important things of life that are in opposition to their own.
Thank you and your husband for persevering and advocating for peace! Yasher koach. (I personally think it’s applicable…)
